Bishop’s College School Collects 2nd CSSHL Title, First In East U18 Prep

Bishop’s College School (Sherbrooke, QC) have won the 2026 Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) U18 Prep Eastern Championship with a 5-1 win over Bourget College (Rigaud, QC).

It was a lightning quick start for Bishop’s College School. Veteran forward Zach Jockers (2G, 2A) appeared on the scoresheet only 17-seconds into play, wiring home a snapshot from the slot.

Bishop’s 1-0 tally would stand heading into the second. Once again, Jockers would ignite the scoring with another slot shot. Just under two minutes later, Charlottetown Islanders prospect Kayden Robitaille (2G, 1A) would blast home an in close shot off a behind the back feed from Luca Stasi (2A). Later in the frame, Robitaille would bag his second off another impeccable pass from Stasi, establishing a 4-0 lead heading into the final frame.

To close out the third, Bishop’s played a clean solid game. Further cementing that this championship was theirs. Keifer Pion-Robin would add one in a last ditch effort to spoil Tyler Fuicelli’s (23/24) shutout, but Elliot Bertrand would seal the deal with an empty netter before the festivities began.

This is Bishop’s second ever CSSHL Championship, winning their first in the 2023/24 season in the East U17 Prep division. Eleven Bishop’s student-athletes won with that team, clinching their second titles in the CSSHL.
